Oh, Bill Farmer!
© 1999 Joe Mette

Verse 1
There was a small artist man, though big of heart was he!
A man who loved his fellow man -- as in war he served his country!
He fought against injustice, war, and for peace,
And the rights of artists and refugees!

Oh, Bill Farmer, our Bill Farmer!
A good friend kind and true!
I love your drawings and paintings --
And your little bronze sculptures too!

Verse 2
To The Antiquarian I love to go,
And look and see the artists there --
Most of them you did know!
Now the upstairs room (gallery) is named after you,
Now a lasting tribute to a friend I'm proud that I knew!
